About Me.

Juan is an emerging artist and art educator living in Northern Rhode Island. He studies Studio Art with a concentration in Art Education and Early Childhood Education at Bridgewater State University. The goal of his work is to explore his identity as an individual and artist and break out of the normative thinking of society. He also focuses on creating commentary on personal responsibility and the consequences of daily actions. Otero's favorite art mediums are photography and printmaking, but he is experimenting with a variety of mediums during this formative time. Outside of the studio, he enjoys gardening, animals, and music.
